Best brush for double coated dogs?

Hello guys! I'm really sorry for the long story, but I need some advice. My dog is a female, spayed and around 10-12 pounds. She is not a toy breed. She has long hr and a lot of double coat. She has some patches on her back, so I thought it was hereditary. However, when I was watching a video online and saw what a brush looks like, I was thinking I need one for her. I know a brush like this https://www.amazon.com/Naturals-Dog-Brush-Natural-Dog/dp/B000RZ4V5M/ref=sr_1_3?s=pet&,ie=UTF8&,qid=1503989769&,sr=1-3&,keywords=dog+brush would be too hard to use for her. She doesn't even want to get into her crate, so I don't know if she will enjoy it.

So, my question is: what is a good brush for a double coated dog? My friend has one that she sd she got at a pet store, and it seems like it is too hard to work with. She sd it is really a lot of work, but I don't know if it is too hard for her. Any help would be appreciated. I am in college and I am living on my own, so I don't have a lot of money to spend.

Thanks

Your friend was right. It is too hard for her. I just bought this brush. It is super soft.

Good to know I won't hurt her back. This brush is more of a grooming brush for her hr. I want a brush for her to clean her ears, coat, and clean out her food bowl. So far, I've only used the ears brush, but the brush is much softer than her hr brush. I am going to try the coat brush next.

The dog is actually pretty light on her feet so she is actually pretty agile. I just made sure I kept the brush in her crate, when I put the crate in the living room she was happy to run around the crate. She only gets a little restless if I move her crate to another room.

I'm gonna try it and see how it goes. I think it might actually work better than the hr brush, because the hr brush is really coarse and it's hard for her to get all the hrs in. This brush is softer, and I think it's a good substitute for her hr brush.

Thank you for the advice! It's good to hear I won't hurt her back. I am going to use the ears brush and the coat brush on my other dog.

My dog is on her feet all the time. Sometimes, she sleeps on her bed, but that is only for a few minutes. She's active, and very agile.

I don't know if she will be happy with the brush. I know she likes being clean, but I think she is too used to the hr brush. Also, when she's in the house, the hr brush always ends up getting tangled in her hr. I haven't tried the coat brush yet, but I will try it tomorrow.

I also think the ears and coat brushes are too big for her. She doesn't have small ears and I only have one coat brush. The coat brush has to be in a very small box, and it can't be bigger than a few inches by a few inches. My ears brush is even smaller. It is the same size as her hr brush.
