They stand in the middle of the kitchen table and make themselves comfortable on the freshly washed pillow: cats are stubborn and don't like to listen to people. But if the living together between the house tiger and biped is to work permanently, there have to be a few rules. Flavorings may help with the education of cats.

Flavorings - For unruly cases

Even if cat education is not an easy matter, you can teach the velvet paws some rules. If, for example, your cat simply cannot separate from one or the other corner of the house as a place to do it and avoids the litter box, flavorings can help.

The trick: cats don't like fruit acids. So just put some citrus oil in the spot the cat chose. Other places, such as dining tables or sideboards that should not be visited by the house tiger, can also be protected with citric acid. On the other hand, there are also flavorings that have a calming effect on nervous cats and increase their well-being.

However, only use natural flavorings without chemical substances - these could be harmful to the house tiger. If you spread the flavors in the form of a burning fragrance oil, then never leave your cat alone with it.

House tigers, who grind their claws on furniture, are not uncommon. But what can you actually ...

Tip: How cat education works

Cats feel their owners' mood swings instantly. Always keep calm when raising a cat, even if you are really annoyed about your darling. Only if your cat trusts you may it follow your instructions. Of course, you should never hit or imprison a cat.

A strict and definite “No!” Works with practice in most cases. If your cat climbs on the table or shelves, just lift it down until it lets it go. But you have to remain consistent: do not allow one thing on one day that you want to ban the next.

If your cat doesn’t listen to you, despite all the practice, you have to go deeper into the bag of tricks. Tip: If your rebellious house tiger makes nonsense again and you catch him, try a water gun! Of course, only with a light jet of water and you should not aim at the head. Your cat will be a bit confused, but will quickly get used to the bad habit.
